OK I guess a PM isn't what it used to be, but someone mentioned a bit of a defensive posture on Phil's part by posting it here instead of asking Bob/Linda to post the comments on their site.

It is simple, this is business and many make it out as something complex and others personal. Business plans, projected revenue and all that are just factors to make the decision but the emotional issues that cause many tie a decision up seems to come from different aspects of the person themselves.

Many don't want to leave their comfort zone, others are afraid to try to learn something new and still others get all frantic and turn their business into a catastrophic mess because the carrier changes their policies and/or direction.

It is that last group you want not to be, avoid it at all costs and go into this with the understanding nothing is static.

Life is too short, grudges are a waste of perfect happiness, laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change.....:)
