Does anyone have recommendations on a good alarm/remote start system and where to purchase and install it.?

Best Buy or Circuit City will install and sell. Here's what happened to me in my chev van. Installed remote sart at a dealer in Mass. It went bad after a year and a half and the faulty remote start put the chev security system into a failure mode and I couldn't start for a half hour until it reset itself. Might be a good idea to have a cutoff switch to anything installed so you can bypass if a similar situation occurs to you.

Don't Quote me, but i'm told that all remote starters have a cutoff switch, so that the vehical can't accidently be started when being serviced at a dealer or garage. Mine does have such a switch built in for that reason. Be Safe, Happy Holidays...Butch
