I wasn't aware that he was Banned either, As a Matter of fact He posted something in the past few weeks I Think it was either to The Chef or Layout but Not Sure, and he Inferred that he was Staying out of the Soap Box! But I Do Find it Odd that when he stopped coming to the Soap Box So did Tallcal--Are They One in The Same? Who Knows for sure!

Something that many on here may not be considering.....I think it could be said that the trucking industry as a whole, would lean more to the conservative side...perhaps that's why that would be the majority here.
Side note: Sheesh I'm glad I don't drive with the CB on.....

There is no doubt Doug did say something that was against the rules "BUT"this was a long time coming and after being attacked day after day and week after week the administrators should have foreseen and stopped it before it happened. political opinions are just that,opinions. You say Doug had been warned but you do not mention LDB, he hounded Doug for weeks and that is what lead up to the situation at hand. Doug has his opinions and LDB has his and that was apparent from the start and I do not under stand why it was allowed to continue to this point without "Both" receiving warnings way before it came to this. If a person completely disagrees with another's opinions than why would they continue to post in the same threads week after week if they were not looking to incite that person. It is just my opinion and I know there will be many that disagree but I believe there were two at fault here and the other should be banned also. Had LDB not turned a practical joke into a political opinions attack that thread would have come to an end and we would not be here. As I said it was obviously coming to this eventually and I will never know why it was allowed to continue. Doug posted in threads previously stating the fact that he thought that he was being attacked and that would have been the time for EO to ask LDB to back off,there was going to be no compromise on opinions.

While I appreciate your participation, and we agree on many things (scary huh? LOL)... the fact is, those arguements were in the Soapbox.. where your opinions WILL BE ATTACKED.

Doug, not LDB brought ALL of those comments on himself in the thread you are referring to. You may feel that LDB "started" it and there are two ways to look at that....there were comments from MANY of us, doesn't matter which one came first, if indeed LDB's did, sooner or later, someone else was going to comment with the comparison to Doug's political views. Doug opened himself up to that ridicule by posting something that was so obviously opposite of the opinions he's posted in the soapbox. Truth be told, there's speculation that the reason his boss sent that email to begin with was BECAUSE of his outspoken political stands...think about it, why else would one get so much joy out of doing that to an employee?
As for the accusations you make against LDB....where are your quotes? Show me where he broke the rules...you cannot simply throw your accusations out there and not give us the proof to back them up.
When you read these posts that you're referring to, did you report it to the mods/admin??
We all have to take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for our actions...in ALL things in this life. Every action has consequences....just another one of life's lessons that sadly, some of us never seem to learn.
