Recruiting spam

Anybody else getting FECC recruiting spam from an Eric Kinaitis, subject $1000 Sign-On Bonus from FedEx Custom Critical is Waiting for You? Ive been trying to call management over there to ask if they approve of sending spam, but I only get voice mail. It's obvious he harvested my address from here.

Why is it obvious he harvested emails form here? There are other ways to get addresses.

I got one of those emails and this is the only place that is related to expediting that my email address has been. We have only been around since October, so I assume this is where he got me email address.

Sorry Amonger, but its not obvious. EO doesnt sell email addresses. They send out The Wire newsletter to your registered addy, thats it.

Anything else would have to come from something you signed up for... did you attend an Expo or Workshop where you gave your email addy?

Where else would he see the address I use here and connect it with expediting? And then the fact that others here are getting it, too...

Either it was sold to him, or he harvested it another way. Maybe you have an EO-leaks with your own version of Bradley Manning.

It was unsolicited, commercial, sent to multiple individuals, and contains no way to remove one's address from the list. That makes it spam.

I get them from FedEx from time to time....not a big deal....i dump them along with the viagra offers.....I think Mark Martin give the Viagra people my e-mail addy after I bought his nascar jacket through a charity auction...

It takes one second to delete an email. It takes much longer to worry and or complain about it and how they got an address. I have never understood the reasoning.

It's similar to the threads on whether or not one should object to warrantless searches at the border or seatbelt checkpoints or something like that. I don't understand people who don't strenuously object and don't work to make sure it stops. When you find a slippery slope, if you don't break out the salt and/or ice choppers, things are going to get ugly.

I want the spammer fired immediately.

I would not call anyone anything unless I have proof. The only thing you have said that can make it spam is no unsubscribe link. To demand they be fired when it could easily be a simple oversight is a little much imho.
