Seasoned Expediter
Hello to all the respectful Recruiters here on the forum.
I am a newbie with a class b permit who needs road training to obtain permament license.
I am willing to relocate to where the freight is and can stay out for long periods.
My goal is to learn this business from folks who have been around the block and knows how to impart wisdom to others.
I am a early empty nester, so I have no constraints to keep me from doing OTR. I am financially OK to be able to stay out for 3 months.
I am aware of the long time away from home and the long waiting periods. I'm not one to cry for home after being gone 2-3 weeks. I looking to stay out longer than 2-3 weeks.
I need to know what companies are looking for someone who has no criminal background, no DUI;s, no health problems, no accidents, a clean MVR, adaptable, dependable, reliable, willingness to learn, hard worker, driving ambition.
Since Hurricane Katrina devasted my home, I have been living in Texas for the past two years.
