Sorry loei,I was just having a little fun with ya. What carrier are you with?,most of the larger carriers can get deep discounts on tires.

I just bought a set of 11R22.5 Michelin steer tires in november, got the "green tire" supposedly has lower rolling resistance to increase fuel mileage.

After 35,000 miles it appears like we are doing better on our MPG numbers,so it looks like they will pay for themselves.

We bought them at Mc Mahon tire in Ft Wayne,IN, they are great people to do business with.

You are sure burning up trucks? Why? or you can't say?

First truck was a 2000 FL 70,it was a good truck but only had a 72" sleeper and had a 7 speed manual transmission. We went to the 2003 Expo and saw what we thought was a great truck, and made a deal soon after to get one just like it.

Second truck was a 2004 (or so they said, turned out to be a 2003 ) IH with a 96" sleeper and an automatic. I believe I have widely documented on here the miseries that we had with this truck,so I wont rehash that story. It was a long 4 years with this truck.

Third truck, and our present vehicle is a 2007 FL M2 with a 96" sleeper and a automatic transmission. This is another vehicle that we saw at the 2007 Expo and had to have. (note to self, stay away from those expo's they can give you truck fever). Also this truck has many creature comforts, such as a roof top a/c with a Onan generator, larger refridgerator, larger bed,and 2 flat screen tv's.

So that's the story, and if luck is with us, we will own this truck until it is paid off and beyond.
