Perfect? NOPE! Were we allowed to run around, screaming in a restaurant? NO WAY!! We would have been bounced off the walls for an hour or so if we did. Just as our kids NEVER ran around screaming in a restaurant. They were NOT allowed to act that way in public.

We also did not take them to "adult" places until they were able to control those impulses.

Is there some reason you have to always come back with an asshat remark? Notice I didn't call you an asshat. If I said, "You're an asshat!", that would be a breach of code of conduct. So only your remark is asshat.

To answer your question, that's one reason. Also the rarity, malleability, it's pretty, and makes nice nose-rings.

I'm a little late to this most stimulating thread, but would like to add my .00000000000000001 Troy ounce. While gold may not evaporate (Geraldo Rivera may dispute this), or wash away, it most certainly will mold! How else can you account for coins, bars, dental fillings and nose rings. Unlike Geraldo dodo, I'll acquiesce if I'm wrong. Hey, I'm malleable!
