How many plts can Xmudman haul? Also I didn't get the size Promaster he bought? If he put it on here then I forgot.

Actually, I set the length at 120. Part of the bed is permanent, so that one of us can be in bed while the other one drives. I agree after yesterday that 3000 might be a hair much, but she traveled straight and true

Got a run with the old van one night out of PA going to NC; the carrier asked me if I’d go with 2800 lbs (set weight was 2650). I said okay. Get to the pick and they put the skids on the van. She squatted like a dog on a walk. I asked the shipper to remove and reweigh the skids. 4450!!

Oh well, that was a $75 TONU

Nice... keep Wife happy
My wall is at 110" to leave rest of room for bed area ...
But if needed for 3 skids .. wall door swings open and bed folds forward ... maybe 10 to 12 times a year ..

All i want is a Piece of the Pie ..

I think I struck a nice compromise: with the whole bed down, we can handle two skids. The rear section of the bed is 18”; fold that up, there’s the whole 120”. Not the longest freight section out there, but being a team is a better selling point, IMHO

Ahh get a cochlear implant like i did! It does wonders for your hearing but once you take it off or the b attery dies and your back to being deaf.
