Hello all , My name is Dan , I've been a delivery driver for over half of my 50 years on this planet , lol , all of them straight truck although I do have a class A but just don't have experience on the T/T side .

I've lurked here for a couple of years off and on and have decided to make a switch from what I'm currently doing , the kids are all grown and the wife says "do what you gotta do " so here I am !

Looking forward to learning alot more from you folks as I dig in and read and research more on Expediting .

Welcome!

Get your cash together first...if you haven't already. That will be the single best thing you can do to make your transition a smooth one. There are plenty of threads on the subject. I think it's more important every day out here.

Welcome! And don't underestimate the value of attending the free seminars EO holds periodically - as the annual Expo shows, the 'face time' factor can't be beat for learning and networking. I bet you'd learn more there than reading back FIVE years on the forums! ;)

Welcome Freewolf!

I met someone at the expo who has lurked for 8 years and finally came to the show to get started! LOL!

Okay, my suggestion is also attend EO University - a one day seminar on everything you need to know to get a good start in expediting. The next one is in October in Charlotte, NC. Follow this link: Expediters Online Workshop Series - Preparing for the Long Haul
