Where do you's stay is this darned state? The TA is a crap hole in Hartford...We found a 24hr walmart in Willowmantic. Where we are now.

Ther is another TA east of Hartford on I 84. I believe it is at exit 71 or close by,town might be Willingford. It is better then the other one but not by much.

We have stayed at TA on I-84 just north of the I-691 junction I think it's exit 28. On I-95 there are three possibilities west to east: exit 12 area is a welcome center. Okay for trucks, has McDonald and good bathrooms. Exit 40 is Pilot. Near by Milford has some excellent restaurants. Exit 56 has TA. Have not been there since the remodel but should be pretty nice. Connecticut exit numbers are not mile numbers.

I LOVE THIS STATE, even ask T-Hawk who would rather stay at the Vince Lombardi.

I love XYZABEE why Restaurnts, sports bar on Sunday, Great Grocery Store, lots of parking, truck wash Dunkin Dognuts, Cracker Barrell Movies etc....
Everything I could ever ask for is right here except cheap fuel, affordable yes at 50 Gallons a pop.

Now what city? Some secrets are worth a fortune, sorry I aint letting it out of the bag.

When I get a load to CT, boy I love it.....

Broom... how dare you say I'd rather stay in Jersey!!! LOL Besides, I've never been to the Vince, and hopefully will never go.
Does anyone know their state motto? "If you aren't lost, you're not in New Jersey."

I like CT also. Milford has a second truck stop next to the Pilot, so plenty of parking if you get there early enough. Being that close to the city, lots tend to fill early. BTW... since Broom lied about me, his secret is the Milford Pilot. ;)
