Good!
I don't believe in any religion either!
Gee, we must be twins.
Back in the day, I wore a black T-shirt, faded jeans, engineer boots, ear ring, chain belt and chain drive wallet.
And check this out!
Folks stared at me like I was some kind of biker. Well, imagine that...
I wonder why? Maybe because I looked like an gang member. Of course, little did they know that I was not a "joiner"; I never seemed to fit into worldly organizations.
Guess why police officers wear uniforms? So you will be able to identify them.
Back then, I dressed that way so I would not be in the "norm." Ya know, I wanted to be different. Uh, do my own thing. When I parked my bike in front of the bar it was like deja vu. Everybody was dressed just like me. All of us trying to be different, but in reality...all the same.
The Bible says, "NO NEW THING UNDER THE SUN."
What was, what is and what will be...is all the same.
Yes, at one time I was very rebellious and unfortunately, I passed that characteristic along to my boys. And unfortunately, they had to learn the hard way, just like dad.
My oldest son couldn't understand why I did want kids smoking pot in my house when I was at work. (I reared the two oldest boys for about 10 years by myself) He got mad, packed his bag and left the house. I said, "Where are you going?" His reply was, "I am joining the Marine Corp because I don't like your rules."
Twenty years later we both laugh about that statement.
He just wanted to be different too; as they marched along in their uniforms. Hup, two, three, four.
