It was aimed at nurse aides that tripped/slipped/fell. who then tried to get worker's comp. If they claimed an injury, then we'd send them to the ER which did a whiz quiz to rule out drunk or high staff. If they where drunk or high or hung over - we didn't want them caring for the elderly. The pre-employment quizes did just that. You'd be surprised at the number of positives that came back by good applicants! It was a condition of employement for them/me.
