Racism and Obama

Liberals love to play the race card, doing so more now possibly than ever before. Here's the deal. Racism is being negatively biased toward someone of a different race than your own. Obama and his dumber than dirt liberal moron friends love to make a big hairy deal out of him being half white and half black. Even more than that they like to make a big deal out if him being "black" when it suits their purpose for him to be "black". The thing is, he's a white man just as I am a white man. Therefore it is impossible for any white person to be racist toward Obama any more than any black person can be racist toward Obama. Anything I dislike or disapprove of is because he's an extreme leftist intent on ruining our nation and/or because he's an idiot like all his supporters.

I don' know where the "man" title, black or white, comes into play when speaking about "Littla Barry". He has a LONG way to go before he becomes a MAN. It is unlikely it will EVER happen. FAR too big a coward and bully for that.

Why or how is this important? I visit countless forums and web sites daily and hands down you make more comments pertaining to race than any other single poster I have come across. Get over it. The south lost!

I do speak out against racism often and I do criticize racism and racists quite often, whenever it is in evidence. It has nothing to do with history. It has to do with the president who vowed to eliminate racism using it more than any of his modern predecessors whenever it seems to his advantage, the latest being his gun grabbing plans.

Speaking of evidence please provide some to demonstrate your contention that you "speak out" against racism. All I've observed is you exploiting it.

It has nothing to do with history. It has to do with the president who vowed to eliminate racism using it more than any of his modern predecessors whenever it seems to his advantage, the latest being his gun grabbing plans.

Not sure what you mean here. All I know is black kids endure and experience far, far more gun violence than white kids. Just a fact. Probably more economic than race related but a fact nonetheless. It is so common that, sadly, it is rarely reported as news. Shoot a white kid and the world goes crazy. I haven't heard you mention anything along these lines. All I see from you and yours is whining about your misunderstood rights being taken away and contempt for a President who doesn't look like what you think a President should look like.

Yes, the South lost and it is too bad that they did. Lincoln was wrong. The South was correct on the issue of States Rights. They should have abolished slavery, which was going to happen soon war or not, and THEN fired on Ft. Sumter.

Obama is like Lincoln on steroids in the way he so hates states and individual rights. He, like Lincoln, believe that the Federal Government should be in control of the states. He, like Lincoln, is wrong.

You do realize that the above post is a clear example of playing the race card, right?

I do love a good irony.

Exactly when were they going to end slavery anyway?

I guess any answer is fine when there isn't an answer. Point made and case closed.

3 ways to proceed when losing an argument:

1) Improve your point.
2) Disprove your opponents point.
3) Say "case closed" because you have no point.

Good choice LDB. ;)

I would say being biased toward someone of a different race is prejudice, the outright hatred of another race is racism.

That is a question without an answer, Lincoln was not going to do it but there was fear mongering used to make people think he would. Lincoln actually worked very hard to pass the Corwin Amendment which stopped the federal government from interfering with slavery in states that already had it. He was opposed to slavery himself but never really took any steps to end it because he thought avoiding a war was more important than freeing blacks. History has certainly been turned in Lincoln's favor and no one seems to mention his wife's family owned slaves.
