Where was your last run to and from? For what rate did you run it?(BE HONEST!) How long were you sitting before you got it? Where were you sitting? What has your NET income been for the month of March?

Laredo TX to KC Kansas...I don't run cheap, my net wouldn't be yours and you wouldn't believe the rate anyhow, most dont.....at least they tell us that all the time, so we quit tell'em...But meet me, ill show you all the numbers...

Well at least you answered one of my questions, somewhat intelligently, save the others however.

And, you really didn't expect people to put the "private/personal "net" incomes on a public forum did you?? :rolleyes:

I mean over 135 views and only 2 people even posted anything....You have 10 yrs in this business, if you haven't figured out which companies are the "better of the corp" then you really haven't paid alot of attention...and beyond that, any given company that is good for one person might not be good for the next.....As you read here you can see there are a bunch of people including myself that are happy and doing well with and at Load 1, but i can tell you, there are people on this board that didn't make it there...so what another person does somewhere isn't really an g reat way to make your own decisions for your business..yea it a "barometer" but in the end, not everyone makkes it with anyone company...

I have no idea what you are driving, but that will also make a big difference with more and more companies...more and more companies are not contracting with regular Cargo Vans....

I read them and i understand, but we both know and he should too that no one os going to post that type of info....general info, yea, not not their net....and again, my and your net and his needed net are no where near the same....

10 years in the business?....he should know what his future is....unless the Feds have kept him cut off from the world and he lived in a box...

The whole thing of what one "nets" is nuts..i mean, after 10 yrs he should have very exact info on his own expenses and needs..so if anything he should be looking for a "gross" income #...and as i said, people here don't believe those of us that are doing well and just say we are over stating and or bragging..so way go through that...

I have said all along, you what to know my numbers, meet me, ill show you my fleet vision for any given month or the whole yr...then take those numbers and work them against your known #'s and see how they work...but even then, that doesn't mean jack..there are people within the same carriers that one doesn't do as well as the other in terms of gross income..it really is all on your own shoulders....

It doesnt take 10 years to figure out this business, Ive driven 12 years and Ive been expediting a short time compared to some here, It doesnt take 10 Years to determine if THIS is a way to earn a living. I wouldnt post my Net, or my Gross thats nobodys business, My Company prolly wouldnt like me discussing rates and Mileages and such either, thats Mine and His Business, But if you cant figure out the company your working for isnt giving you what you need, you go elsewhere. Dont believe all the Promises and BS unless its in writing, and after youve been doing it for a Month you should know, maybe three to find out the small print you didnt pay attention to is now costing you allot of money. Deductions, Saftey Bonuses, HUGE Sign Ons etc....that stuff doesnt make a job, its just the FLASH designed to get you there, to sign and work....

Sitting is a way of life in Expediting, anyone whose read these boards knows WAITING is a part of the game, if your impatient, cant stand to sit, go crazy waiting for loads, EXPEDITING isnt your Job.....Deciding when to move to better freight lanes is your own personal decision, some guys will sit and wait 5 days, Me personally Ill wait one full day, then Im headed to where MY COMPANY has freight....youll only learn that after time....

No ones gonna say what there Net income is, there is competition here, these are Businesses, and they value there LANES, FREIGHT and DRIVERS, so sharing that kind of info is Taboo on a public forum. I will say Ive had some great paying runs, and some just making the move and fuel, its a combination of All that makes the job worthwhile.

I don't think he is going to see that in a van at the Fed. But, he may be better served looking at just what the other vans are doing. Using the Fed lingo of a "C" unit would likely mean a dock-high straight which wouldn't be a close comparison to a van. Or at least I hope not.

I do not run cheap Imay sit one or two days durring the week I have a few local / regional customers that pay me what I want.
best part no even twelve hours worth of work with two local picks none of your business of who or how much.
