Question about servicing APU?

I have a carrier apu unit and I was just wondering what is the best place to get it serviced. Does the TA service them or do I have to go to a dealer. Thanks

My opinion is that a Carrier dealership is your best option, but I believe T/As and Speedcos will do an oil change on them.

TA's and Petro's are a crap shoot. Some have all of the filters, some have some, and some have none. Some know the proper amount of oil, some do not.

We always carry 2 extra filters for everything on the truck and APU just for this reason.

Never had ours serviced at a Speedco, but I'd bet they have all of them.

Lastly, the back of your owner's manual has a filter interchange chart. Most of your filters are stocked at O'Reilly's and NAPA.
