Question about Detroiter Truck Stop

I have a membership with Audible.com, and a Garmin Nuvi to download the audiobooks to, and I love it! But I still read actual books too [Leo hasn't converted me to the Kindle - it wouldn't work well with my habit of enjoying popcorn while reading], and the Detroiter is a good place to find them cheap.
Not this guy anyhow...Everyobody hangs out at the T/A in Monroe exit 15!
In all my years I seen only a couple hookers there Detroiter...no one was beaten or robbed in my many stays...I felt as safe as one could there....

You been there and never had a problem...whats the dif...detroiter or the Meijers down 3 blocks? Nothun..same area...

in the past i didnt have problem but they changed. i wood go to meiyers but usually anymore i go to monroe if not loaded.
but iam lucky i have a great dispatcher he usually gets me aload out of detroit same day as unloaded

Now that don't make sense right there...why go to Munroe if you get loads out of Detroit...just stay in Woodhaven??? empty miles means less pay...

so you burn 1 1/2 gallon of fuel? Out of service? fuel at the detroiter, the gal is pretty liberal with handing out showers there....just ask is all...

i do not like parking around tractors. they idle i dont. it takes away from them yet another limited number of truck parking.
and there is alot of damages caused by tractors backing.

Why even back track to a truckstop there has to be places closer to your drop or pick up. It is just wasted miles going to a truckstop. And as for the Detroiter that place is a dump I have only sat there 4 or 5 times in 8 years of van expediting. I find shopping center parking lots with the typical hooded bicyclist, roaming packs of undesirables and boom-boom trunk thumper's to be much more exciting.
