Owner/Operator
Hello! I own a ford transit 250 high roof. My MC went 90 days yesterday. I am struggling to find loads. What am I doing wrong. I have multiple dispatchers. I live 15 mins outside of Atlanta. So it’s not like I’m in the middle of nowhere. Everytime o speak to a dispatch company, they always promise the world, and then 2:00-3:00 comes around and they have offered me 1 load. What am I doing wrong ? I’ve probably sent 100 carrier packets to brokers over the last few months. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m on the verge of loosing everything

Hello - have you thought about signing on with a carrier? When you say dispatcher, I'm taking that as working with different brokers. If that is the case, they don't really have any motivation to keep you busy. I used to work on the shipper side of things. We would not work with a carrier if they had under 10 trucks and we would only use brokers as a last resort. Based on what I've seen over the years, the progression is usually owner operator signed on with a carrier - grow (hopefully) and become fleet owner. When you've built up enough, then you might strike out on your own. Hope it works out for ya.
