problem my friends had

I was recently at the williams truck stop south of dayton on 75 and one of the vans there (lets call the owners ram ma and ram pa just to have something to name them) well anyway they were sleeping in thier B unit in the gas station lot when half way thru the night thier van just stopped running and they woke up cold.any clues what might have caused this problem?

From the clues you gave .....

1. Ran out of gas.
2. Fuel pump died.
3. They were sleep driving and turned it off.
4. Ma kicked Pa outta bed.
5. Pa kicked Ma outta bed.
6. The dog turned it off.
7. The dog kicked ma and Pa outta bed.
8. The Dog will work for a bone now and conspired with the leasing company for a hostle take over by freezing them out.

If I was a betting person I would go with #2. But then #8 maybe more likely.

Had the same thing happen back in December at Madco's in Romulus.. The
alternator which had recently been rebuilt died during the night. As the voltage dropped, the engine started missing and soon quit. Unlike the good ol' 6-71 Detroits, a DT466E has to have battery voltage to run the computerized fuel system. Thank God we had a couple of furniture pads to keep warm.

Maybe they ran outta fuel? But dead batts will do it too. Or jelling.

Doesn’t seem to be running in that “Pic” AND with that spill coming from under it, maybe it too quit running? Sure it isn’t leaking from a seal? The only other Q I ask is “It hauls what”??? That cargo box looks to be as big as a minute!!!

Although that is a nice looking truck it’s a Dodge???

The big spot in front is from a fuel leak on his Cummins TD, the little white thing at the front of the puddle his cigarette butt he tossed to torch 'er up! The smaller leak towards the rear is from his Dodge auto tranny. We are CRUEL!!!
...just being sarcastic- VERY nice hotshot puller! I have seen your truck on the road quite a few times;-)

..Sorry to call it a hotshot, but I am hereby declaring any pickup that fifth wheel pulls a hotshot, as it is not a classified tractor. I wish there were a better name for them... maybe a new EO contest? Name the vehicle- A pickupmatractor?
