The thesis still stands. The opposite of life is death. The opposite of pro life is pro death.
I agree. You can't have it both ways. If you are pro life and believe in the sanctity of life, all human life, then you can't support capital punishment.

There is no hypocrisy in capital punishment. That is a lawful sentence imposed on a guilty criminal who by their own choice decided to die that way.
Would the system that imposed the "lawful sentence" on the guilty be part of the same system that made abortion legal? Scuse me while I look up the definition of hypocrisy and since the letter "I" is only a few pages further in, I'll look up irony.

Hypocrites abound and they proudly wear the pro choice banner, most while also condemning capital punishment. That is true hypocrisy, encouraging and condoning the taking of innocent life while condemning the taking of guilty life.
Yeah, that works both ways. Get your dictionary out.

I used to support abortion and capital punishment but I realized just how stupid and flawed we are as humans. There is just no way we should be deciding the fate of another human life based on inconvenience or our belief of someone's guilt. If we look back at the number of people that spent decades in prison or on death row that were later proven innocent then you have to realize we have killed innocent people.

Man is subject to error. Only utopia is infallible.

Or thoroughly mindless justification and worship of any and all things military ...

Well, while you're in there you might as well go for "cognitive dissonance" while you're at it ... ;)

Yeah, that works both ways. Get your dictionary out.
Also see that thoroughly mindless justification and worship of any and all things military ...
