Does the private messaging still work ? Is it the thing as the contact option ?

The contact option is at the very top left, to contact the managers of the website if you are having login trouble or need advertising info!

Yeah, a PM, or Private Message, is the same as a Conversation with this particular forum software. The software developers are British, you know how they are.
