BOTH are hilarious!!! I don't know if you watched the passing of the gavel live but wasn't it nice of her to recite the reasons that she was put in the position of having to hand that gavel over!!!

She went on so long that Megyn Kelly was getting emails from people wondering when she was going to sit down and shut up. And they DID say later that no, that wasn't typical of what happens during these proceedings.

Yep. I know what you meant but believe it or not, there are many in this country that do not know that we are a republic and do not have any understanding of the difference. Kinds sad to say the least.

Well Greg, it is really hard to many to understand that since Civics/government is not really taught these days. I mean, really, when you have politicians from the president on down talking about our democracy, what do you expect?

I'm confused......you knew what I was talking about and agreed with me on the democratic process, then greg counters that we do not have a democratic process and you do not question why he thinks that.

What is the process called that allowed those men to take down the sign in the picture?
