I Know this has been discussed last year, but here it is tax time again. What is the rate for Per deim in 2005, O've been trying to find it but no luck. Also as an owner operator how much of it am I allowed to deduct 100% or just 70%.
Transportation workers who started on the road prior to 1 Oct will use $41 per diem and those that started on the road after that date will use $52 per diem in the USA
I've said it elsewhere but feel it's worth repeating . This is a question you know to ask . There are many deductions you don't know to ask about . A tax adviser knowledgeable in trucking is a very good investment .
