I was told by a Landstar Express van driver that if you run unleaded gas in your van, you do not have to pay taxes on it like diesel fuel,in other trucks, is this true? :)

If you run a cargo van you do not have to pay any taxes on fuel period, weather its deisel or gas. and paying by cash or your own credit card. If you were given a fuel card by the company and they take the fuel out of your settlement, inturn they will pay the fuel tax for you and you report it on the tax return. But that is only on Deisel not regular gas.

Any other tax question I can answer for you

If you don't have to turn in your fuel reciepts to your company, then you won't have to pay any *more* taxes, however if you do have to turn in reciepts, then they will likely bill you for a few states. Each state has a different tax rate and if you buy fuel in a cheap state and ues it in an expensive one, you have to pay the difference.
