Parts for Pro Heat

The water pump on our Pro Heat is bad and I am contemplating replacing it myself. Can anyone out there tell me where I might order one online and have it shipped to my home? I probably will not fix it until I am at my house.

In the meantime, we certainly miss that little generator.

I should also mention this is an older unit (built in 2000).

What engine is in it?

Kubato?

Cat?

Briggs?

Chinese?

All APUs don't use engines that you can't get parts for but you got to get the name, model and serial number of the engine.

With Kubato, parts sometimes can't be gotten through their lawn care outlets but have to go to the engine outlets. Also one APU uses a Kubato that also uses the same parts as the Bobcat skidsteer. You can get parts there too.

Cat engines are some what difficult, a number of Cat dealers will not order parts for you even though they have access to every engine part in the catalogs.

This by the way goes for Reefer units, they use three or four different engines and the one I have I can go almost anywhere to get engine parts and already have.

The engine is a Kubota Model Z482-B, 2 Cyl, 479cc.

The ProHeat model is ICE B

Any Kubota dealer. They will also repair it for you. Might be worth the $ spent to let them do it as well, I found them to be more than helpfull. Unlike Pro-Heat Service, some were beyond great, others down right dissipointing.

UPDATE

I was able to order parts from a Kubota dealer near our home. Had to wait until the next time in to pick up the parts but finally did get them and was able to make the repair. It is working great.
Really did miss that APU. Good to have it back.
