Parking Buddies. One small solution??

Is this a productive idea or am I dreaming again?
Do you worry about finding a space when you arrive late to your targeted truck stop?

As with most of you, my wife and I have a special list of Expediter friends who we keep in contact with almost daily. On many occassions we have "saved" a spot for our friends or visa versa.

Riddle me this: How do you save a spot?
Answer: You are already in it.

In other words we share the same space. 2 straight trucks bumper to bumper (80ft) fit with minimal intrusion into the aisle. Ideally, the 1st truck gets a space along the grass so that they can back up allowing 10+ feet to overhang. The first truck leaving in the morning will take the front position. With a straight truck and van it is even easier.
The idea? Expanding this beyond BFFs and to the EO community as a whole by having a "Parking Buddies" thread were members can say " I have arrived at the J in Ft. Pierce, FL." then you pm if that is were you are headed.

It solves several problems:

1) Alleviates the worry.
2) No need to hurry.
3) The TT bunch will appreciate it.
4) Eliminate creative parking solutions which can lead to a tow or ticket.

C. Humble is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Good idea and all but lets say we have 2 straight trucks just delivered and who knows who will leave first and when. Let say truck in the rear gets load at 03:00 am and has to wakeup driver in front truck. It can work I guess so long as someone doesnt mind getting woke up.

And how do you figure we lack of a showering problem? It never is, a problem,getting a free shower, as we fuel/gas up more frequently, not having to worry about logging it, therefore, having more showers on our cards. No problem, Mate.

I actually think it's a good idea. I've shared a space with bobtails and straight trucks a few times.
