Panther vs Fedex Expedite

Some of you have very low standards. $1.70 is a lousy joke for semis but the catch there is we all know it is what it is in current conditions. Considering there are other regular freight options that can pay that or better depending on circumstance. I always questioned why anyone would willingly run middle of the night or last minute freight for ordinary rates with the added scheduling and sleep depriving pressures. When, again, with relative ease you can have a much easier schedule and the same money on general freight.

Now is a daunting time to be partnering with other carriers but I always say jump right in there's never a bad time to start a trucking biz (or change things up in an established one) if you've got money to burn. Good luck with it. Even in the best of times when they're passing out freight to trusted partners and tossing money around like it's nothing you still want to be sourcing freight all kinds from every source possible. The beauty of a semi is you can do literally anything not just limit ones self to any freight or segment.

Well to be honest all the loads we run so far are paying over 2 dollars a mile and we never bid under two dollars a mile unless we really need to get the guy down there. But from what the other guy said good luck with 1.70 crap or whatever well buddy to run expedite you should expect more since it is a straight thru delivery and its a semi with a 53 foot trailer the equipment is not cheap. So rollincoal your exactly right some people do have very low standards personally for me i dont. The more us drivers and carriers take cheaper loads the more it affects all the other drivers and carriers.

So far panther is doing okay but not impressed on the rates and on how many loads that i bided on and did not get awarded any except for one. Maybe bided on 60 loads today. Anyone has any better ideas for other places for a partner carrier?

If we had the "answer" don't you think a) we would be doing that, and b) not telling as to keep you and any other competition out of our honey pot?

One thing you have to remember this site yes it may be an expedited site, it mainly consists of cargo van, sprinter and straight truck drivers. Now there are a few tractor drivers on here but they are the minority.
