Panther & single vans.. Mileage limit?

Does PII limit loaded mileage on a single van driver? How often do you get an 800 mi. load or more, and what are you averaging these days? Also, how are team vans doing there.. Don't know much about PII.

Tom Tinker Retired Hi Twin Pop I'm not an expediter yet, but I'v talked with and gotten info. from some of the big ones. In general the talk was straight trucks would get more business. this thinking goes back about 12+ yrs. hope this helps Good luck Tom

They will transfer freight if its more than 750 miles and you don't have enough time to stop and sleep.Average miles per trip is just the luck of the draw. Last year I had 20 mile trips and 1800 mile trips.

1800 miles.. as a single in a van? Did they give u time to sleep in between, or did u just get ahead of schedule?

Um, I sure hope he didn't get that far ahead of schedule, lol. Sometimes we pick up a load on Friday for a Monday delivery, which usually gives 2 & 1/2 days to get there, so 1800 is not unheard of.
