just my thoughts.the left loves to slam palin on everything she says or does.just take the fact that many people still belive she said I can see russia from my porch.when in fact it was tina fay that said this.if you watch the video of palins answer she never says it was paul revere mission to warn the british just that he had. i mean really the british had people there already do any of you really think they did not hear the warnings also?yet the left wing media spins it like she is stupid.just take the az shootings they right away tried to put blame on her, because of the crosshairs.yet they said nothing about the bullseye map the democrats used for bush in 2004. and that map is still up on the dnc website.never mind the fact that the people who really knew the shooter came out and said if anything he was left leaning!!however the media seen a chance to slam her and they took it.even though it was totaly false.
i think what i find funny is you see and hear her more on the left wing media then you do on the right wing media.they are the ones keeping her in the news.they are the ones that are trying to make her look stupid.and i gotta say with them trying so hard they gotta be scared of her. really if she is so stupid then why does the media pay so much attition to her?
as far as her only looking out for her and her family well she holds no office she has not said shes running.so what is wrong with her looking out for her own.shes doing the same as we all are doing only on a different level. really think about it why do we stay on the road putting up with the things we do dealing with the things we do.i know for me its not to pay the guy nextdoor to me bills.its to take care of my family and make the most money i can.
well just some of my thoughts on it sorry for any mis spelling or grammer errors.stay safe out there:eek:

Oh, and if you haven't watched Wallace's Sunday morning interview yesterday, I highly recommend it. Just strange I tell you. Especially at the end when she tell's Wallace, "now its time to make the soup". Trust me, its worth the 25 minutes.

Here we go again, NOW who doesn't know what they're talking about and didn't bother to do their homework.

Your last paragraph needs to be pointed to the Republican establishment as they seem to continue to "not get it". Those of us that consider ourselves conservatives are so disgusted with these people and their inability to see beyond the beltway......it's the same with the administration, I don't like being considered a "bump in the road" if I'm struggling right now. SOMEONE needs to get in there with a real grip of what's going on......both houses of Congress as well, we're far from finished cleaning out that bunch!
Here is a cool, damp washcloth for your forehead. You're going to need it...OK, ready?

I agree completely with what you said. :D

No, it wasn't "just that he had," it was that he had by riding his horse through town and ringing those bells and firing those shots. He didn't do that. And there's no amount of spin that will make it true.

i mean really the british had people there already do any of you really think they did not hear the warnings also?
One, there were no loud warnings for the British to hear in the context of Revere's midnight ride. Two, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, as the historical record is there to be had. Revere fired no shots, rang no bells, nor did he warn the British that in just a few shorts years the Second Amendment would be penned so they'd better be careful.

yet the left wing media spins it like she is stupid.
That's not spin. A very wise man once said, "Stupid is as stupid does," and Palin does stupid.

My list of things I am liberal about is a short list. My list of things I am conservative about is quite a bit longer. But my list of things I am honest and pragmatic about dwarfs both of those lists. I'm not going to give anyone a pass just because they are a member of a certain political party. When someone does or says something stupid, then it's stupid, regardless of their political ideology. What's even more stupid is when people give them a pass, even though they know it's stupid, too, simply because they are of the same political bent. Stupid is stupid.

Gingrich: I really didn't say that stuff that I said on that video.
Weiner: I don't know if that's my underwear.
Clinton: It depends on what your definition of "is" is.
Obama: All of our problems today are Bush's fault.
Palin: I am not a quitter, therefore I am quitting as your governor.

Stoopid. And those who give these people a pass? Stoopid.

My God. I already knew his wife had a book of soup recipes out, I even caught the interview that Shep Smith did with both him and his wife. And if you haven't watched that, that's another one I HIGHLY recommend. awkward.........

Have you watched the interview with Palin from Wallace's show yesterday? If not, watch it, then maybe you will understand where I am coming from.

Good suggestion, she was very good in that interview and had some great answers to policy questions.l I have even heard some on the left today say she did well in that interview. Not sure what you watched.

I heard she was using a teleprompter.......*gasp*.....the horror.

Just in case anyone was wondering what that "gotchya" question was, here it is:

"What have you seen so far today, and what are you going to take away from your visit?"

No wonder she doesn't like to talk to the press, who could blame her?

If you already knew that Wallace's wife had written the book then why would you find her comments about "making the soup" so "strange"??

Yes, I watched the interview with Wallace and I thought she did quite well....period. I see no need to pick her apart over it, it was far better than many interviews I've seen, both on the left AND the right.

"What's funny about this is that she essentially reduced the Revolutionary War down to a fight for "Gun Rights". lmfao."

Guns right were not the only issue we fought that war over but it was one of the issues that prompted that war. Along with the tax issues, "forced quartering of troops" etc.

The Crown was confiscating firearms from "certain" people whom they did not like. The Crown had been restricting "arms" ownership by their subjects since the late 1500's. It was part of their means of maintaining control over the subjects.

Many of those who lived here at that time did not WANT their firearms taken away and did not wish to be controlled by the Crown, or anyone else for that matter. My kinda people!! :D

AND, we also fought that war so we wound not HAVE to drink tea!! YUCH!!!

If you did not find Palin's comment and facial expression's odd, then there isn't any reason to go on about. I would like to see if anyone else thought that the end of the interview was odd at all.

Anyway, that wasn't really the focus of my post. It was however about Ms. Palin attempting to double-down on her idiocy.
