25,000 a month is not realistic. 5 to 6 thousand a week is possible. But as RichM mentions, most are not running four weeks of every month. It doesn't take into account any time you are not driving. A Team in a SS or TT should do right around 200,000 a year. Not aware of anyone doing 300,000. 5,000 a week times 40 weeks. Some weeks you might make 3,000 and some might be 6,000. Just a general average. Alot depends as well as to what company you are driving for and do you do special services or white glove loads.

He is a O/O just like us. Has a city truck (day cab).
EGL is a whole different game than what the rest of us normaly do. Go to the terminal (station) pickup your Delivery bills count the stuff and then bust your a$$ all day long. Most of the time your truck is loaded with 12 skids and then suff piled in, on, and around to the top. Some deliverys will get you $7.00 for driving 15 miles but your next stop 1/2 mile away will get you 130.00.
The guys I am talking about that run out of freight are on the twoway B-4 that happens, and are not satisfied with 1500. weeks. they make pickups on the way to reload, and go out for more, while some not so hungry may not even get all the freight off the truck and return, having never called in to get some p/u's made.

Got to go, just got called of to Tillsonburg.

I will try and show a day in the life of a city kitty when I return will try to post a day's activity.

I drove around 300 plus miles that day and worked about ten hours. But some of those miles were driving to work. If I did local all the time I would Drive a car to work.

To be fair I have also had a bunch of ten and twenty dollar pick ups and deliverys that just eat the day all up. But as GEO has said it is all about the weight with EGL.
