Over night in Cadiz, KY

Last week I was stuck at a gas station in Cadiz, KY due to Thor. I was able to make my way into the station and find a spot to park. When I woke up several people where helping each other however they could. It made me feel good that people actually still care about each other, regardless what the media wants us to believe. When the chips are down Americans always rise to the occasion. God Bless America!

I don't think "the media" really cares much about what we believe, they care about getting us to buy their paper/magazine, watch their program/advertising, click on their sites, IOW: give them the statistics to justify charging advertisers. Or to increase the rates charged.
People helping others doesn't command the same level of interest as drama & violence & titillation - but it's a lot more common than one would think, if the "media" is all one considers.

The thing about the statistics is, I don't click on the garbage they show. If they show something that looks like it might have substance, I will look. Most click to see something, anything. Since that's the case, show something with substance. Get the clickers and the thinkers.
