Well here it goes, I have been watching and reading for about 6 months and have not said much. My grandpappy always said "watch and listen befor talking", and a "expert is someone who knows more and more about less and less". So after 10 years of driving a semi in and out of chicago on a part time baises, I have learned that my full time non driving job may not be here for vary long. (I drive 3 to 4 night's a week.) Expediting has been somthing I have been looking at for some time but untill this websight the only info I could find was from the big companys and a hand full of drivers I have met in passing. In the last 6 months this is what I learned. when I started reading in november fraight was slow and there was alot of post. Now it look's like fraight has picked up because post are down. and no matter who you drive for or what company, or what size truck there are going to be good and bad days and one can only hope for more good then bad. To expedite or not I don't know? so I will keep watching all of you experts and make that choice when I have to. I love the websight it always gives me somthing different to think about.Oh ya one more thing Grandpappy also said "it is better to aim for the stars and miss then aim for a pile of S#!T and hit". Your Grandpappy is a wise old man! I added another choice to the poll, you may want to vote.
If you want to send me an email or a message from EO about where you live and some other job related details --- I know of a small company that is looking for one or two good people to do some dedicated runs
