Yes, that bike is purty. And, i'd imagine it'd be real comfy to ride for at least the first mile or two. Not a bike person myself.

Actually, the Big Dog K9 series is based on a softail frame, which would be quite comfortable.

I know it is hard to tell by looking at it but the bike is very comfortable - for both Jim and I.

Visited Sturgis many moons ago, before it was vogue. Way too much fun then. Stopped thru there a couple years ago, and, what a joke it has become. The last trip, I had the truck full of wanna bee bikers bikes, on the truck, heading back to several stops at their homes. Kinda funny how it works.

You were right Coco, it was WAY cool getting paid to go to Sturgis! Last Thursday afternoon they called about one picking up in Detroit on Friday morning going to Spokane. I've been wanting to get to the Northwest ever since I've been in expediting, so it was already my best run ever. The added bonus was the 2nd pickup Sunday at the rally. I picked up Dodge's Cummins display engine.

I got there in time to have a great Saturday night. I REALLY want to get another bike. Some of the customs, such as Are12's, aren't all that expensive, starting at 20k. Of course, the Iron Horse that I like is 45k. (Note to dispatch: I'd like to stay REAL busy for a while, O.K.?)

Highway Star,

The "Plain Jane" Big Dogs are in the 20K ballpark but our bike was 43K. But it is well worth every penny!! I hope you get your Iron Horse soon and enjoy it as much as we enjoy ours.

Thanks Kangar00 and Mike,
Jim likes being different and the graphics on this one is certainly that. It turns heads no matter where we go.

As for who did the graphics, it was Big Dog. They do all their own graphics and there are no 2 bikes alike.

Me, personally, I liked the graphics and color of our 2004 Big Dog Chopper better.
