Canadian Prime Minister had no reluctance in calling the Ottawa shooting an act of terrorism. Canada is well served by having a man of strong character in leadership. It gives folks in the USA someone to admire.

Thankfully, the sergeant-at-arms had access to a firearm and was able to stop the assailant before several innocent lives were taken.
