one quick question on a rumour i keep hearing

we are leased onto fedex cc came over from conway now but for the last few days i keep getting asked over the cb & in the truck stops what is going on over at fedex cc ,
at first i had no idea what the heck a lot was talking about huh fedex cc is getting rid of trucks ? but it seems a lot of drivers are telling us that fedex cc is not recruiting no more and they are downloading there fleet i really think it is only a rumour started by someone out there but i sure am getting a lot of feed back on it i get as an example ok .
hey fedex cc are you guys going out of business or hey fedex cc i believe your rates are way down well yes some loads are reduce but now i will get it from you guys & ladys on here is any of these rumours got any truth behind it ??

I think this comes up every once in a while. I was told the day after I signed on with them that they will get rid of all vans in a month. I heard that all C units will be phased out by the end of the year when I bought this one. I take everything with a grain of salt and just keep moving.

I know that they have quarterly cycles where they will open up recuritment to fill spots that are empty and they close it when they feel like it. Many think that this means that they will not sign on any more truck and assumes that this also means that they're gettign rid of trucks.

Companies will purge their fleet of under performing contractors when freight is slow. When things start to turn around they will begin to rebuild.

Come On Pete You should know better not to listen to everything you here. One of our driver's that has been with us for over 1 1/2 years is signing on his 1st truck with FedEx Custom Critical next week. It will be ready in the next few weeks and I may be hitting the road again to train his driver until his co driver is Ready.

that is right they get us and squeeze us in to the floppy disk and insert us in the hard drive that way we are good little fedex cc drivers and do everything the main computer tells us lol ,
well that is what the main puter would like .

ps anyone tells me is there any software out there any shop at all in the 48 states that i can buy accounting software directed to the trucking industry now i have looked at truckers helper but been told it is not a very easy soft ware to follow that you cannot tranfer from one file to another so i want a software directed to the industry we are in been to bestbuys circuit city computer world in erie tiny shop but WOW the sheila behind the counter was enough to keep you there even it you was not buying anything must have been in the line twice when the bodys was being handed out WOW took me a few minutes to put my eyes back in to there sockets but come on any software for the trucking industry logs expenses cash on hand etc

if they download us,my fuel bill will be cheaper,but wishing wont make things better
this time of year,we are all slow,not just expedite but all carriers
let the rumors pass you by or hope they are true,less truck means more freight for you and me
