on 06/21/16 try to make a delivery to a customer, they had a wrong address of customer, and point of contract was someone that know one knew who it was. they said try other part of company so I went next door.
showed them paper work , they said know one here by that name, called the phone number listed on bill and packing list that was a company 20 miles away. we haven't order anything like that. called dispatcher and they said bring it back to station also get address for Williamsburg, and we will ask shipper where it is to go.
so 06/22/16 get word to delivery it to Williamsburg today, almost to customer and they call and said don't delivery it to Williamsburg , tomorrow, delivery it to first place. funny how so many mistake can be made.
so now have right paper work and try to delivery it on 06/23/16 to first place.
kind of like who is on first , what is on second

It always boils down to good, clear, communications.
I hope they weren't in a hurry for the freight.

The other day I sat at UPS in Miami for 7 hours. My dispatch did everything they could. They called me a 100 times but the customer wasn't doing their part. I got a contact name at the shipper and person at the window said he doesn't work here. Finally the customer called the shippers customer service line and I got the BOL number I needed to pick up my freight. Then UPS Told me that the freight hasn't cleared through customs and you have to call the customer back and tell him to clear It through customs. It was such a pain in the ass.

Your dispatch had to call you 100 times, and they still get a small percentage of the load. I bet that load was more trouble than it was worth for both of you guys. I used to know where the air freight loads and UPS loads picked up at (what cities) so I would always bid more money on those loads. Panther and other carriers fail to put that in the load notes that it is UPS or air freight. They don't want people to know that. I always bid way higher on UPS and air freight loads, because they are always problem loads. At least you got "ir" done and got paid lol.

Got detention pay but couldn't see my family in west palm so kinda sucked. But it is what it is. Life of an expediter!

Yeah, you have to take the loads when they're hot or else you can ruin a good luck streak so damn fast. I had to run out of my friends house at 10 PM to pick up a load out of Waycross GA. You almost never hear of those loads, so I figured I had a couple of days to kill, but I got the load the second night I was visiting him. Money jingles lol. You can't make money sitting on your friends couch.

after all right info I was able to make delivery at 0735 and it was before 0800 got extra money for it
and paid 3 times for it, all it was a 10 lbs box
