A very good read, indeed.
Like I said throughout the campaign...... There are many many registered Democrats that do not like Hillary and crossed over.
Imo, Trump also tapped into the concerns of 'blue collar' voters.

Not uneducated, but non college educated voters. Some in the media are making a big deal of this. Like they're a bunch of rubes because they just went to high school, but didn't go to college. They voted for Trump because they weren't smart enough or something.

I picked up at a place last week college grad driving a fork lift
I worked in a plant to move up to the next position I had to take a few college classes
It surprised me how many people just out of high school where taking the same classes as I was the first quarter and I never made it to high school because I can't spell
