On the Bible and Obedience

Wow ...... I can't believe my first post is concerning the Bible .... well here goes ....

AMonger I understand the point you're trying to make, but I disagree with how you're trying to make it. The main point in the Book of Daniel is NOT disobedience. In my opinion, it IS about being obedient to God under all circumstances.
If you want to protest some type of overregulation .... great! Just please be careful not to take passages out of context to fit a specific point of view ....

It's a place where it's ok not to be normal! ..... but God still does rule over all.

I am happy to see that your first post here is about the Bible. Just reread the article and it seems to me it is about being obedient to God and what happens when authority challenges that obedience. I do agree that Scripture needs to be used in context and shouldn't be used to "fit" a certain agenda. Doesn't seem out of context to me, if you see it differently, would love to hear why. Thanks again
