Started with a P0204 code, which includes possible injector failure. Here's my current list of fault codes, just in the common rail module

P1630-001 not found but internet says its internal ecm error
P1630-002 ?
P1630-004
P1630-016 immobilizer - control unit WSP immobilizer does not answer
P1630-064 Immobilizer - EEPROM test in common rail control module indicates a fault
P2013-001 ?
P2013-002
P2013-004
P2013-016
P2013-064
P0204-001 injector cylinder 4 - excess current on control cable
P0204-002 ?
P0204-004 injector cylinder 4 - excess current on common cable
P0204-016 ?
P0204-064 injector cylinder 4 - cable has short circuit to positive
P0201-001 injector cylinder 1 - excess current on control cable
P0201-002 ?
P0201-004 injector cylinder 1- excess current on common cable
P0201-16 ?
P0201-64 injector cylinder 1 - cable has short circuit to positive
P0203-001 injector cylinder 3 - excess current on control cable
P0203-002 ?
P0203-004 injector cylinder 3 - excess current on common cable
P0203-016 ?
P0203-064 injector cylinder 3 - cable has short circuit to positive

Anyone?

Wondering if my starter change disturbed the wiring harness for my injectors, but not sure if that is one of the three harnesses zip tied in front of the starter wires...

What did you use to read the codes?

Its weird that #2 and #5 are not involved at all.....

did you clear the ECM completely and start over to see if they return?

4-5 yrs ago I spent about 5G's replacing fuel system and it turned out to be a short in all places the ECM!!! how can you say I was Pissed I may have changed all that for no good reason!!!

Ouch. One of the codes is internal error in ecm...i left out the other codes involving no communication to engine brake and immobilizer modules....

replacing a bad ECM is a lot cheaper then a fuel system....BUT it takes a dealer to change an ECM

Or the entire set of modules and keyring from a donor sprinter. Or you can buy the equipment to do it for a few thousand but how often do you need to progam an ecm :D

Here's the rest of the codes
P1926-000 can communication faulty current and stored
C2001 no idea
C2101 no idea
P10ff no idea
B1470-002 fuel level sensor short circuit to ground
B1040-002 can communication with transmission control unit
is faulty
B1041-000 can communication with brake system is faulty
B1040-000 can communication with engine control module is faulty

P2356 no idea - ecm internal error?
P1630 no idea - immobilizer?
P2672 no idea - no codes listed
P2013 no idea - no codes listed

when you buy an ECM the software is "Locked" by Mercede's....they need your VIN and Big computer to access the lower functions.....Mercedes lets no one into the hard software citing propriety coding

Until China came along. Its completely cracked up to 2010 and there are lots of arcane tricks to do up to 2014...hint the mileage on your used sprinter should be taken with a grain of salt....

Back to the present problem, that equipment wont help me lol

I'm going to start by checking the obvious like grounds and wiring harnesses...soon as I steel myself up to lie in the snow that is

The best knowledge is gained by fixing what you broke

I take full responsibility for cutting off those zip ties with a large pair of tin snips, it was the first thing handy

Also check the wiring harness where it goes around the head, or block, on the back driver side of the engine. That is a place where it rubs and might short once in a while.
