OIL AND MORE OIL, US 83 SW Texas

I'm setting on US83 for a moment , 35 miles out of Laredo. Ive just driven from Eagle Pass TX. I stopped in at the Catarina TX One Stop Tumble Weed Café for coffee and food . Lots of oil workers and truckers out here now since the discovery of 300 miles of oil fields to be drilled on here. One driller said 900 million brls estimated, buts there is more he said. The pipe line they are laying extends for miles and its headed toward Laredo.

I hope this good news continues, we need more good news in a Land of bad news. PS, there are jobs here if u like this kind of work.............they be drilling, welding, and so on ..............

There are PLENTY of jobs in PA to drill the gas fields. You have to KNOW how to do something. That requires EFFORT on the part of the individual. There in lies the problem. Far too many are far too lazy to get a skill.

I know, I know, it's hard, it takes time, blah blah blah. In the mean time we have to support those who are just flat out unwilling to fend for themselves.

We have oil all over the place...BUT...barry and the libs don't want us to get it or use it...barrys epa rigt now is looking for "endangered specis" in T so they can stop the drilling and construction...they are being sued right now in TX over some lizard....and in NK they are writing regulations to restrict the "fracturing" to get the the "shale oil"...

Thats the "hope and change" that barry gave us and that those that voted for him and support him gave us and wanted...

Didn't Bush's EPA also look for endangered species and stop a lot of things from moving forward. I know a republican congress didn't rein in the EPA when they could and didn't help matters by repealing a lot of the laws that still stop drilling from happening.

NO, Obama is now in charge, EVERYTHING bad is his fault. That is how it is. HE is pushing the EPA to ruin the economy so everyone can live in a 3rd world county. Bush's mess ups are old news. Get with the program. Blaming Bush and congress is SO Obama!! We will here it all again as his campaign ramps up. BUSH DID IT, not ME!
