But I can't be adding more unless our other guy comes on.
Just laying groundwork and doing the Q&As with a few more right now.
Gotta make sure EVERY Q is addressed and that we even think of Qs concerns that they aren't yet. This is not an industry that makes for comfortable surprises. If it means fewer drivers come on, so be it. But there will NEVER be a driver with us that truthfully says "that's not what you told me".

I think the pay is the biggest obstacle for most fledgling drivers....
but ya know what and the way we look at it?....
we will be getting a paycheck about 2-3 months AFTER we leave....
Murray....just one mans opinion.....you have a great system to compete in todays marketplace....continue to keep the operating costs low....I personally wouldn't give in to the temptation to prepay or start factoring, just to put vans on quicker...a van on every corner is not the solution.

Funny thing is, our average a/r is no where near that long. I'll run the report today but it's always the "scratch on the Ferrari" that we remember.

I didn't mean to infer an average wait time.......depending on the broker there is a couple that are slow to pick up the pen and sign a check.....
Its funny the carrier that takes a smear campaign on here with some members is one of the quickest payers....

All good. Looks like broker-only 7/1-10/26 average is 35.25 days. Add to that a few days between invoice & DDs and that hits 40 days, easy. But look at some of those assbags in there.

Yeah. There are surprises in there on the short and LONG end. But good to know it's still falling, on average, where we always estimated.
As far as money is concerned, the big ones are the best. However, I kinda dislike them. Maybe because of age, or something else, but they just wear me out.
I like the 700 mile loads. All I need is 4 of these in a week and I'm happy.

Ha, just figured out Mystic Lake Casino is only 20 miles north of me. And it puts me closer to Minn/St Paul. Yea, that's my excuse for moving there tonight!

Dropped this morning in Great Lakes IL. Way to close to home on a Friday. Home now already. Dog is gone, step daughter not here, FIL at a rehabilitation facility after getting his pace maker this week. Haven't been alone with Sharon for too long. Going to take her away from the house for a fun weekend.
