Well Nick is now at home for his recovery. Amazing the things Technology can do these days with minimally invasive surgery. Rest well buddy!

Thanks gang..:)....now at home...taking it easy....

From one old man to another, glad you're doing better. Don't push it too fast!!

One question. After riding 190 miles cooped up with you, did the EMT's require medication, therapy, or booze to recover??:D

I don't know....it was 3 female EMT's.....think they just ignored me like they do with their husbands...lol.that and i was pretty well out of it...on a small morphine drip and blood thinners...

Ken, serious question: Are you planning to give up smoking?

Absolutely....going back on diet first....lose the first 30 lbs and then target smoking...by the New Year.
No more Loooong mileage loads...6-700 miles max......they just exhaust me....i'll leave them to the young bulls...like TJ and Xiggie...maybe I'll hang out and do the locals just around the quad states of Ohio. Mi. Ind. and Ill....I don't need much more then that...

Get well Ken Love ya man...You just made me sit and think about the state of my health and need to change...

Tha same here...Much too young to be feeling this darn old...

And I need to quit smoking, but everytime I have tried, I'd gain 25-30#, so I am not about to gain any more weight, either.

Ken, I wish you a speedy recovery! It just isn't the same out here without you here! If you need anything, CALL. You're in my prayers.

Thanks Dave..all I can say is focus on 1 task at a time.....maybe the weight first....then you'll have room for the gain when you try quitting the smoking?>...just an idea...

Yea, just another habit to break...I guess if Cuz did it cold turkey, and my dad quit cold turkey the day he sold his truck and retired, after smoking since 15, than I can do it....It's just the habit that is hard to break, driving down the road wondering what are we going to do now that we don't have a cig in our hands? I was there before, and it just seemed to drag on, the miles...not to mention the mood swings...okay, need to sleep..at the yard...
