Empty move 480 miles now. We know they are working hard. Things are just a little quirky now.

Fuel hose is on. Back in service. Real nice folks there at that shop. Chad, the tech that worked on my van, showed me how to get to the fuel filter. Hardly any tools required to change the filter. Most of the stuff snaps apart and together. More plastic, hmmm. :(

Just tried some ordinary white rice and mixed JuJu's Salsa in and it is a keeper for me....

hmmmmmmm...not sure if I made enough salsa now...more plants for next year!

so I got the scanner figured out and copied about a hundred old family photos with a lot of the ancesters. Now I'll put it on a cd and send it on to the kids with their Christmas presents. Thank God Sis stopped by and helped ID some of them.

Yep, most simple stuff can be done with the tool kit that came with the van.

Reminds of a 1971 subaru I bought new. Ended overhauling the motor with the tool kit that came with the car. Simplest overhaul I ever did.

This one looks a little more complicated. Not much more once you get past the electronic stuff.

Top of the morning gang! I awoke to a strange sight on my deck...I'd stained it with an oil stain and had raindrops beaded up on my deck yesterday...well it froze last night so I've got all these bright shiny diamonds on the deck! That cats will be playing ice hockey until they melt..:)

So I've got my screen saver set to display all my pictures in random order..It's kind of nice to have a pic of your great, great grandfather pop up..then a pic of your youngest grandaughter mixed in with the garden, cats and flower pics that I've stored. I absolutely love my new scanner..and I've got a lifetime of pics to scan and put in the pc.
