Three years in expediting, 4 different expediting companies, with over 10 trips to Laredo. I have never gotten a load out of there; ever. I almost got one not too long ago, but it was too heavy for my van "8000 pounds to be exact." I guess Laredo is my unlucky spot.

Even TJP gets out of laredo, even if it takes 30 days. lol. I'm just unlucky down there.

I have the same luck in the Carlisle PA area....10 years and not 1 lousey load....it is a dead zone for me...go figure...

Some people never get loaded out of California. I've been loaded three out of three times there this year. I guess everyone has that one area that hates them.

Yeah jj, getting loaded out of San Antonio is a bit easier than getting loaded out of Laredo. But even that can be spotty. I was in laredo 5 weeks back, dropped on a Thursday, waited till Saturday and then deadheaded all the way up to Kansas City, KS. Got a load in KC on that very Monday and kicked off a nice 2200 mile week. But this past week I sat in KC for two days and never got a load; go figure.

Another reason why I deadhead out of Laredo is because I do not want to have to turn down a 50 cent per mile load. Also, a lot of loads out of laredo are deliver direct. That's ok on a 1000 miler, but not on a 1600 miler.

Empty in Greeneville Tn...Got in here this morning and found another Load 1 sprinter here along with a Fed Ex Van...Went to bed and woke up in time to talk to EO Member "Comet" in the Sprinter..he had just got a load and was headin out...

Been a slow week as far as the number of runs, only 2, but they total over 2000 miles and less then 100 mile dh and over a buck all miles....Still have a good chance of getting out of here today, and Jeremy is good at findin those weekend runs that deliver on monday, so the week still has a chance of finishing real good....:D

Hey blizzard, Bolt was always good at gettin me a few runs between the border cities..Laredo to El paso or laredo to Del rio...then out of texas towards the north east...And they have a regular customer east of Dallas that always has loads to chicago, toledo and detroit..Continential and I can't remember the name of the city but it is east of Dallas and automotive electrical componenet company...you might talk to Renee about it...

I'm not a super vanner unless I control the pick up and delivery times. I can run 1600 miles straight if I have 10 hours of sleep behind me and the load picks up at 10 AM. I have done it once before. I just can't be waiting around all day and then get dispatched at midnight and pull 1600 straight. A good key to staying alive out here is knowing your own limitations. Like Dirty Harry says "a mans got to know his limitations!"

Well you are doing well over there Cheff. Chef reminds me of the energizer bunny. He is always on the move. What I don't get his how Load 1 pays you guys so much money on NLM loads (that is if any of your loads have been NLM loads this week Chef). I see what Charles gets for carrier rates on some of the automotive loads which does reflect what most carriers get. I don't see how you can be making so much unless Load 1 is paying you way more than 70% on those NLM loads. I commend this.

I forgot to correct my pay for the load Going to laredo; it's 95 cents a mile. Not as good as Load 1, but if I wanted to make really good rates "a dollar plus a mile" i'd go independent. Rignt now good old Bolt has been giving me one of my best years ever.

Picked up Friday evening in Birmingham dropped this morning in Newberry SC. Deciding where to hang for the weekend. Might treat myself to a room for the night.

Got to see OVM and Juju for a few minutes yesterday before their dispatch rudely interrupted our meeting. OVM I forgot to wish you happy birthday Monday.

Checked into INDY I can see a junky Reefer Tractor Blue Coulumbia, which pulling a Carrier Reefer that looks to be on its last leg (Compatition) dont know how it even stays on the road!!!!!

The Driver is so outa shape. A heart Attack waiten to happen. Im for real.

A few days ago in Knoxville I watched 4 Black Pedi PAWS trucks E Services pull in 2 women get out of one truck after it took them 30 min to hit the dock. In that particular tractor they had 3 dogs in that truck. Good Golly.

After they unloaded at the Consignee, the women took her dogs out front of the place and let them run loose and Go to the Bath room on the front lawn of the consignee. One was on a leash the other 2 were not.

Thats not to mention how all the drivers were dressed while conducting business. I guess to each their own.

I will say this if I were Contract The Pedi PAWS comapany
I would expect they had better rules than that.
Especialy in the E Services Division.

On Race Day at the Kentucky Derby you dont leave your Prized Stallion in the Stable.

Do I got to kick the stables door off its hinges or ya gona open it.

That being said I told U all Im Back. Now Lets get Running!

Considered the Trash Taken out .
