It looks to be swirling with ice and rain. Be safe...it's going to take awhile to dig out here.
Be safe you guys. The early predictions are this is only the beginning of a long, cold, snowy winter. Make sure you have some emergency supplies at the house and in the truck.
Running south through Oh on 75 last night, it rained so hard there was zero visibility for awhile - but it's pretty today.
That much snow just sucks, when you didn't get to enjoy the autumn while preparing for it!
Good advice. We purchased yesterday a winter supply of sunscreen for the Florida house.
LOL!! Better you than me. IF I ever find a way to earn a living outside of the truck I look forward to LOTS of ice fishing. You can have the heat, snakes etc.

I'm at the Mebane, MC Petro. Upper 80s predicted here for today.
Dead ended...41 miles from house...roads closed every which way...darn...so close....and this town is without power....
That sucks... I m sure the snow will melt by Monday.......I ll be in Chicago later .....

we usually get an October blow out.....cousin J is sending a plow out this way in the morning...he's area state road manager......
Local lumber yard let me stay in their plowed lot overnight....one of a very few that is plowed...this town STILL No Power.....very dark out there.Only 7pm here...
