My deadhead ratio dipped too far below 30% so I'm just gonna head North.
Moving targets are hard to hit but I've got deer-damage to fix.
Found most of my parts for just under $200.
Core support, grill, TS assy & fender.
And all new, but not genuine GM, parts.

Hope you get out of Elvisville this morning. I'm DHing a lllooooonnnggg way home.
I like the fact my wife and kids need me there at least on the weekends. I spent a lot of years not being needed at home at all.

Ok, been busy this weekend due to my plowing through Mr Major Speedbump (6-point deer) Wednesday night.
New core support.
New left fender.
New grill.
New turn signal assy.
Yep, I even painted the fender myself. Rustoleum did fine. A little "orange peel" but I can live with it.
No insurance claim and about $225 including the new headlamp and can of spray pain.
NOW to get some revenue back on that biotch!!!!

I was truly fortunate that the strike didn't happen in a curve. That alone could have made the outcome MUCH worse. Seeing how the deer ended up under my left rear tire, the "airborne" effect might have been just enough for me to panic and make a bad move. Let's face it. People can tell you all day what to do and not do, but when you have about 1/10 of a second to respond it's more about "hold on" and less about a 12-step program. LOL!!
The weekend is over. Had fun and interesting weekend. Visited a gun shop/factory in Durham. Great people there, friendly and knew what they were talking about. That in it self is strange for retail these days.
Now it's back to work today. Picking up near here today, heading for ON. Then, assuming all goes well, Tues it's ON to MI.

Delivering some type of a prototype part of an aircraft to Boeing in Wichita.
even with all the neutrons running in my skeletal- i still have no idea what part of the airplane it goes on.
all bunch of suites looking on flatbed truck trying to figure out how to unload this thing without damaging it.
they decided to go get a bigger crane.
i might be here for a while, LoL...
then it's truck show time!
