Obama's region of doom

We are close to reaching a point where the number of tax payers are out numbered by those who pay no taxes. I think that the figure is around 40% that pay little or no taxes. We have perfectly healthy, able bodied college students on food stamps. We have people on 'extended unemployment' (welfare II) who refuse jobs to stay on it. I would be willing to bet that if you put ALL of the different types of 'gimmie goobers' together they just might, already, be a majority of U.S. voters.

We sure do just like we have corporations in the tax payers pocket. It is a mess to be sure. Those numbers can be decreased by getting people back to work and removing the guy who seems to activally promote adding people to the list of takers.

It is a REAL mess. I think that we would accomplish more if EVERYONE stayed home on election day and NO ONE voted! NO legal government then. THAT would be a GREAT start to fixing things.

Electing EITHER of the two running will only continue the mess we have.

WASP's had a pretty good run here in the US. Our refusal to deal with mass migration coming across the southern border is changing America's complexion. I understand migration to improve one's lot in life is natural. Our Hispanic friends, by any fair observation, are hard working, family oriented, generally conservative and make excellent Americans. It is in our interest to welcome them warmly and help their transition to life in the United States. This is a permanent shift in American demographics. Let's work together for the positive good.

I'm confused as to how voting your conscious is a protest vote. Should we really stick our wet fingers into the air and vote the wind of public opinion and be fair weather voters? I don't believe Romney will be a good president, and I already know for sure that Obama isn't. I can't, in good conscious, vote for either of them. How is that a protest?

It's a protest that no one notices. But the reality is that we're stuck with two choices - Romney and Obama. One of those two will be president in the next term; if you want Romney, vote for him. If you want four more years of Obama, vote for him or someone other than Romney.

As I have said before it is my belief you fight for your guy in the primaries. If he or she does not rise to the top it is time to vote for who you feel will do the better job out of the viable ones avaiable. My beliefs and values say now I must do whatever I can to deny Obama a second term and I intend to do my part to achieve that result.

That is about how I look at it. If a libertarian or a third party candidate had even the slightest chance, then I would say vote your conscience. When you only have two, then it goes from conscience to common sense. Common sense tells me we are in for a rough four years with another Obama go around.

The mess this country is in didn't happen over night! it's been coming for many years and we were blindsided to think all is well, and people didn't care as long as they got theirs and they didn't have to give up what they had.

I don't think what has been done can be undone....we waited too long PEOPLE!...Way too long!

Actually, no I didn't. Thanks to Moot for mentioning it. I found a paragraph here and a paragraph there, and when I read them it made me think of the bumper sticker. Put them together above. Had no idea the bumper sticker was a book. Kewl. It certainly applies to an awful lot of people, I think.

By peace with 'reality' do you mean give into the tyranny that is being thrust upon us? You may choose to become a victim, I do not. Their is no peace when there is no freedom. There is no freedom when tyranny rules. Evil is now firmly in control. When evil rules there is NO peace. Evil can only have power when good people allow it. Evil must always be confronted. I will be at peace with reality when I am free, without worry of government control of my life. Mankind is meant to free. Nothing going on today encourages freedom, only slavery.

I get this vision of our Senators and Congress people setting up all night trying to bring down our country and passing new laws to make it easier for the terriost to get into our country. will u all vote this year please, another batch of government people are retiring on our money..................... sometimes I wonder if voting does any good as more and more politicians are just in it for the retirement checks..
