So really you got to love how this guy just does not shut up.Now this was ment to get his black base all worked up and back behind him again.For someone that almost all liberals and some that say their not claim to be such a smart well spoken man.He really does say some pretty stupid crap.You would think someone in this white house would be smarter then this.

I think what they are really complaining about is that Obama delivered the speech as if he was Col. Slade in a "Scent of a Woman".

I would have to say he was directing those comments to persons like, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and others in the Congressional Black Caucus(CBC) that have criticized the President for not doing enough or being tough enough.

Which, I would think most in here would agree and applaud the President's attempt to tell people to quit looking for the Government to take care of you and to get off your arses and "press on". Those comments about whining, grumbling and crying came after a list of accomplishments on behalf of middle and lower income Americans and calling for passage of his jobs bill.

He wasn't calling on anyone to stop looking for the government to take care of them, he was calling for them to stop the whining and get back behind him even though they feel that he hasn't done enough for them. Oh and let's not forget the "accent" that he was using, decidedly black, just as Hillary used in the 08 race when she went to a black church. It's pandering plain and simple and if I were a woman of color, I'd be disgusted first and insulted second. Heck, I'm not of color and I'm STILL disgusted and insulted.

Yeah that was great.What was even more funny was the AP article on it.The reporter wrote is as obama spoke it and did not clean it up to make Obama sound more dignifyd.And the left has flipped out.Going so far as calling it racist.YEP the AP racist when it comes to OBAMA now thats funny right there.

The cries of racism should be pointed directly at Obama. That's NOT how he normally speaks so it could only be taken as him stereotyping how he sees THEM talking=RACISM. Who says this racism thing only works one way?

If he visited one of the southern states and spoke with a southern drawl, what would they say? Wouldn't that be the same insult? It's elitist is what it is......he sees himself as above ALL!!
