Nuther week with Panther

Just got back from a week on the road. All went with the business plan:

Don't get killed. Didn't
Don't get hurt. Didn't
Make more money that I spend. Haven't added up the fuel receipts yet.
Don't piss off wife. Spent big bucks on a nicey from Canada.

Had to come home to move heavy stuff back into a room we had some water damage. Water damage repaired, re-painted, etc. Promised wifey I would be home today. Was in St. Paul, MN. No load. OK, I'll bite the bullet and dead head home to the Indy area. Remember, I promised. On the way home, BEEP, load offer to Canada. I put QC in my lap and said no thank you. Canada is north, Indy is south. Later I looked at the load offer. 866 miles plus 12 cent fsc!!! I about crapped when I saw what I turned down. I hope whoever got the load thanks theoldprof for helping make their next truck payment. Is that what they say by learning the business?

YOU TURNED DOWN ALMOST $800.00!!!! to keep the wife happy? Wives are a dime a dozen. She can get the big muscle bond guy down the street to move heavy stuff. Your not thinking man!
