No what? I need a real honest answer to this problem. I have done what little I know to do to fix it. If you know the REAL answer, not some silly stuff, please pass it on.

This is going to sound stupid, but check your mouse click settings and the pad settings. It may be a problem with the driver/application on the laptop for the pad.
Also try this - get a cheap USB mouse and try using that for a bit. I know it is hard to drive using the mouse but you should be able to handle it.

Start with a clean boot.
I will check the settings again. Yeah, but this thing is not easy to use while driving any way!
