Now that Santorum is gone, what to do with Ron Paul?

I think you may be on to something with the Tupperware concept.;) Only vote I am seeing at the moment is whatever gets Obama out.

So what?

Is voting for the winner important? "Vote like me. Think like me. Do what I do. Come on over to my religion. Let's be fake outraged together. I need the validation!"

I first voted in 1975, and it looks like this year my voting record will remain perfect - I've never voted for a winning national candidate. My vote has never been a vote against this or that guy, and certainly has never been a wasted vote. I'm not a party-line guy, or worse, a single issue voter. My vote is my conscience.

The only party I believe in in the Tupperware Party. It keeps things fresh. And I like the burp.

I am not a 'party guy' either, I even think that Tupperware Parties are stupid. Voting for a loser will insure a victory for the loser in there now. We all KNOW that to be true. There is not ONE 'off brand' candidate out there that can draw enough votes to defeat Obama.

This may, however, be a good thing. His reelection will without a doubt be things to a head. Then the people will find out what horror really is.

I keep praying for another crazy little man that runs and takes 20% of the vote from the lesser of two evil parties again. He changed the debate in DC for 2 years and gave us (the voters) a voice and hope again.

Then the lesser of two evils destroyed that movement and the voters turned back into bigger sheep than they ever were before. Our country continued to run away from our constitution, tried to dominate the world with our military, and fell deeper and deeper into debt.

So where are the 20, 30, or even 40% of the people who are sick of only having more of the same? Our only choice at this time is at the barrel of a gun, or in the voting booth. I choose the voting booth, bathed in much prayer for God to do a miracle in this country again!!!

I have NO idea who you are talking about.

I too would prefer the ballot to the bullet. I cannot, however, to continue to 'settle' for bad candidates. Voting for Obama, Romney OR Paul would be doing EXACTLY that from my point of view.

SO, I have only two options, neither of which will result in Obama being voted out. I could 'settle' and vote for Paul, he will lose, Obama will be reelected and bullets will fly. I can write in a name, he will lose, Obama will be reelected and bullets will fly. Some choices. :(

God doesn't care about politics, or football. Sorry.

Maybe you need to get to know God...

He loves us so much that He died a horrible death for us. He cares about what we have to go through, and He wants us to look to Him for answers.

Please Lord if it is in your plan, save this country from it's sin. If it is not in your plan to save this country, please come quickly to spare your people the misery.

AMEN!

Please explain how voting for a person who is NOT on the ballot, for either party, makes me a 'party guy'? You lost me.

IF I were a 'party guy' I would ether be voting for Obama or Romney. Paul is NOT going to be on a 'party ballot' unless he runs on a non-Republican or Democrat party ticket.

You admitted you're not voting for losers. Are you saying you won't be voting at all? Frankly, I respect that more than voting for the anti-evil-evil.

The idea of voting is to choose the candidate who mostly fits your view. Win or lose, I refuse to vote for someone I don't agree with. And I don't hold my vote as worth its weight in gold. It's a vote. It's not tearing down the empire if I use it the way I want, like Leo seems to think. Enough zombies are doing the tearing down without me helping.

No, I said that I was going to vote, a write in vote. That person WILL lose and Obama WILL be reelected.

I WILL use my vote to vote for someone that I believe will abide by the Constitution and that is CAPABLE of handling the job. I see NO candidate, from either of the two main Parties, that fits that bill.

I don't see how that makes me a "party guy". I don't even do New Year's Eve parties, let alone political ones.

At least Ross Perot was funny. Every time he opened his mouth I cracked up!:p

Every time I hear Obama speak I puke and every time I hear Romney or Paul speak I fall asleep. :D

None of which has anything to do with politics, or football. People so badly want to overlay God onto what they are passionate about, to get validation of their passion, that it gets ridiculous, like with politics and football. It also makes it very easy to slide that over to, "I don't like those little brown people over there." The answers He wants us to look to Him for are not who's going to win the election, nor who is going to beat the spread. If you live you life for Him, politics and football will never enter into it. If people truly live their life to serve Him, they will spend far more time and energy with their own life and their own business, rather than spending so much or both minding the business of others.

The way you were talking, I thought you were a "vote for Romney to keep Obama out" guy. I was mistaken.

I was minding my business. You decided to make light of it...

But if you don't think that God cares about the direction this country or this world is heading in, you really don't know God.

I am very sorry if you disagree...

I am clearly a "vote for Romney to keep Obama out" guy. While some are quibbling about Ron Paul's great gifts, Obama is working at double speed transforming our nation into something far from the Founding Fathers' original intent. The task at hand is to remove Obama right now. The GOP has a slim chance, but the only chance, of mustering enough votes to stop the certain disaster of a second term for Obama.

That's what you get for posting you business in a public forum. :D

I wouldn't presume to know what God is thinking. For all I know, things are going precisely according to His plans.

I am very sorry if you disagree...
Uhm, OK.

The only thing you get by doing that is a disaster that happens when the president has an R after his name rather than a D. There's not a nickel's worth of difference between Romney and Obama.
